Over the next three days fourth graders are going to research and write their opinions about a topic and use evidence to support their claims. Students will watch a video and read two articles about school lunches and then decide: should students bring lunch from home, or should they eat lunch at school.
Students will research during reading and writing time (morning and afternoon). Because of this, we will not have our regular mini lessons during Readers' Workshop. We will continue to complete grammar work, read, and complete spelling work throughout the week.
